When you use Frontier Tesla, we collect information necessary to provide our rental service:

Name, email address, and phone number when you create an account
Payment information processed securely through Stripe
Driver's license information for identity verification
Insurance documentation you provide
Vehicle telemetry data during your rental period (location, battery level, mileage)

2. How We Use Your Information

Process and manage your rental bookings
Verify your identity and insurance coverage
Process payments and refund deposits
Monitor vehicle location and status during active rentals for safety and recovery
Communicate booking confirmations, pickup instructions, and support
Improve our service and respond to your requests

3. Vehicle Data

During your rental, we access standard Tesla vehicle data including location, battery level, charge status, and odometer readings. This data is used solely for fleet management, vehicle recovery, and ensuring the vehicle is returned in good condition. We do not sell vehicle telemetry data to third parties.

4. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Stripe for payment processing
Insurance providers when processing claims
Law enforcement when required by law or to protect safety

6. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Rental records and payment history are kept for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Vehicle telemetry data from completed rentals is retained for 90 days.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect and the right to opt out of data sales (we do not sell data).

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
